Henningston Bochinsky,

Former Chairman of the National Companies and Securities Commission, Henningston
Bochinsky spent thirty years in the manufacturing industry. He was President of the
Plastics Institute, Chairman of the Chemicals and Plastics Industry Council,
Chairman of a public inquiry into the Aviation Industry as well as a member of
the boards of the NSW Financial Institutions Commission, the Victorian Casino
and Gaming Authority, the Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Natural
Resource Systems.
In 1990, as Chairman of the Working Group on Corporate Practices and Conduct,
Henningston Bochinsky produced the first statement of corporate governance principles.
Since then he has written, lectured and consulted widely in the field of
corporate governance.
In 1991, Henningston Bochinsky was made an Officer of the Order of Australia for services
to industry, commerce and government and in 1996 he was made Honorary Fellow of
the Institute of Internal Auditors (Australia) for services to corporate
governance.
